Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh rhubarb
- 1 packages strawberry jello, 3 oz.
- ½ cup flour, unsifted
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
Method
Wash rhubarb, cut and discard leaves. Cut stalks into 3/4″ pieces. You’ll need 5 c rhubarb. Arrange it in greased 8″ glass square baking dish. Sprinkle with jello.
Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Melt margarine in saucepan over medium heat. Stir butter into flour mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle over rhubarb. Bake at 350 degrees 50 minutes or until rhubarb is tender. Let stand 30 minutes before serving.
