Crunchy Pecan Biscuit Ring

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 cans large refrigerated biscuits, 10 oz each

Method

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease (not oil) 12 cup fluted cake pan (bundt pan).
2. In saucepan, melt butter, stir in pecans, brown sugar, syrup and corn syrup. Pour about half of mixture in bottom of cake pan.
3. Separate biscuit dough into 20 biscuits. Stand biscuits on edge in cake pan, slightly overlapping around the pan. Pour remaining sugar mixture over biscuits.
4. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 3 minutes, turn out onto serving plate. Serve warm or cool (best served warm, with butter).
